Installing drivers in windows 7

I Downloaded drivers for my 360 controller so I could get rumble in some unsupported games.

It worked on my previous installation of windows 7, but after formating and reinstalling when I try to install the drivers now windows give the error message "the INF file you selected is not supported by this method of installation"

Edit:as for the problem itself, did you switch from 32bit to 64bit windows by chance?
