Installing Det 6.27 driver

Right now I have the Creative labs driver. I think it is the 5.22. If I want to install the Nvidia driver 6.27 do I need to uninstall the Creative driver first or not?
 
According to my experience, I couldn't find a way to get to the overclocking the card after I uninstalled the old one and put a det. 6.18 driver. Those previous CL Annihilator2 blaster control windows no longer work. Anyone know what to do here? I need that overclocking utility.
 
Yes, you need to hack the registry as follows:

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak and create a new DWORD called CoolBits and give it a value of 3.

This will get the OC utility.
 
I would wait until Creative release the 6.27 driver, this should be very soon, I have the Fast Trax 6.18 and they work well
