not sure if the PSU's fan should be on the top or bottom? i figure it's supposed to be on the bottom, but it doesn't quite fit right so i'm wondering if it's bad to have it on the top? my case is kind of small so there's not a whole lot of air flow on the top...

i'm going to modify the back of my case a bit and make it fit so the fan is on the bottom

If that's the case, it should be facing the top then. Where ever it has access to air flow.

LOL

Yeah, I saw some kind of bizarre diagram on the AMD web site that shows recommended airflow in a case.

There are some cases which have a whole on top to let some air out but they're usually not right above the heatsink. The CPU/heatsink is ordinarily just below the power supply. So, the fan on the bottom of it can allow the hot air to escape.

\EDIT: Whoops, it's like the guy said, that fan SUCKS air, it doesn't push it out. The one facing your wall is the one that pushes out. Blah, me very, very tired.
