is there a website somewhere that has pictures and basic instructions?

i did it myself 20 years ago on a toyota, which was easy since all the screws are visible on the front. it was really "ghetto" too since i put in new speakers with wires taped (scotch) under the seat... ah... high school....

i'm thinking of installing an aftermarket stereo for my truck, which looks to be harder to crack open. is there a good website for my specific model just to get me started?

this thing has extended cab...but that shouldn't matter since i'm not doing anything with the speakers.

I think I got instructions with the wiring harness adapter. I've put stereos in 2 Jeep GC's and my Dodge Ram. Been pretty easy so far. Usually just a few screws and the dash pieces start popping off.

Most places will do it for a few bucks, though. A guy I really trust for car electronics charges $25 or so to install a head unit. For that price, it's not really worth the hassle.
