Hey all!
Hopefully someone can help me out... I've been doing a bunch of reading on the JBody radios in 2000+ Cavs / Sunfires.
I've read that I've got several different options for wiring up the deck, I'm just trying to make sure I've got them covered:
1. Pick up simple wiring harness, and tap a switched +12V line (from Wipers) for power
or
2. Pick up integration adapter (that includes a speaker to replace door chimes)
or
3. relocate factory deck to the trunk with a T-Harness.
Now, honestly if all I'll be loosing is my door chimes / key chime and hand brake chime with option 1, I would like to go that route since it's ultimately the cheapest and I don't care much for chimes.
What I'm trying to figure out is what connectors / harnesses will I need to wire up my aftermarket deck (Alpine).
If anyone has some experience, stories, tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if I wanted to pick up the necessary cables online, where do you recommend?
