Installing a Raptor SATA and IDE WD

So I am installing XP on my new system. I choose to intall xp on the raptor but it still wants to put files on the IDE. When does XP recognize the raptor as an sata drive?? Also, the MSI neo2 came with RAID/SATA driver disk. WHen i push F6, the only option to install 3rd party drivers is nvdia nforce3 drivers and RAID drivers. Is the sata drivers in the nvidia drivers option (for those that have an MSI Neo2) ?? I want to make sure the system is seeing my HD as Sata. Thanks guys

well, I am installing xp on my raptor while leaving my wd as the lone drive on the primary ide cable. Should I hook my ide drive up after the install??

Make sure you have the RAID controller driver on a floppy. When loading WinXP fit F6, and when prompted for the driver insert the RAID controller driver floppy. Even if you aren't going to operate in a RAID array, you need to install the driver for the controller before WinXp can see your SATA hard drive.
