Installing a power supply?

How difficult is installing a new powersupply? I've got a 300w now but I want a GF4 which says it needs 350w. If I went and bought a new power supply can everything stay in the case while I install it or do I need to rebuild the whole computer again?

It`s very easy, just unscrew the four screws that hold the PSU to the case, disconnect all PSU leads from motherboard and hardware like HD etc, then remove the PSU,refit new one, connect leads etc all done.If you`ve a floppy drive make a note which way round the power lead from PSU to floppy drive goes on,since fitting this wrong will result in dead floppy drive(happened to me once 😉).

Yep, it's a pretty simple job. Just be careful when you are removing the power supply not to hit anything, such your heatsink if you have a smaller case. Some of them fit in there pretty tight.
