Installin' LeadTek TV/Tuner drivers

I have drivers dated from 6/12/2002 version 1.13.1.243 installed now, got them off the CD that came with the card.

But i wanna update the drivers to the latest ones dated 1/9/2003. I unstall the current drivers and it needs to reboot, but it installs the 6/12/2002 drivers upon rebootin' on it's own, i have no way of stoppin it.

I'd just update the drivers and over-write the current ones, but it seem the .inf files on the new drivers weren't updated with the newer date/version and Windows keeps tellin i already have the latest

Should i remove the card, delete and uninstall everything i can? Then re-install and use the latest or is there another way. My puter is kinda a pain to keep opening and such, would rather not have to pull the card.

Try installing the newer drivers over the older drivers. Afterwards go to device manager> select components> choose update driver> Install from list or certain location> Don't search I will install the driver> Choose the driver you need.

You might have to do this for all the components on the card for like tv etc.

Yeah i did that but it keeps tellin me i already have the latest, the date and version wasn't changed or something in the latest ones.
