Installig a gtx 260

Do i need to power up both 6pin connectors that are on the video card? I don't have an extra cable anywhere. I still have the cable that i used on my 8800gts and that i can use for the 260, is that going to be enough?

The card did come with a dual Molex to 6-pin adapter. Sorry i am new at this, any help is appreciated.

Well i connected only one six pin connector and even the fan didn't start.

EDIT: Well i think this monster machine needs both 6pin plugs powered. Unfortunately for me i don't have an extra cable nor do i have extra room for the molex connectors.

Yes the card requires both connectors. If your PSu doesn't have it then chances are it doesn't have enough power to support the upgrade. So you need to get a new PSU. The 260 requires allot more power then the old 8800GTS does.

what power supply do you have? there are adapters you can use if it has the juice to run it
