So i installed xp-pro. but when i get to the login screen it is in the xp home login. also when i press ctrl+alt+del, it does not come to that speacial screen that you can lock the comp and such. how do i enable these things....it should be enabled already right?

Is this your first experience with XP Pro? Its been a while but I don't really remember anything visually different between Home and Pro other than the branding. There really aren't too many differences between them, anyways. The ctrl+alt+del thing ur talkin about is like how it does it in Win2000 Pro, right? I"m not sure XP Pro even uses that anymore. Like I said, its been a while so don't quote me. Maybe someone else here has more helpful knowledge.

Control Panel (Classic View), User Accounts, Change the way users log on or off, Uncheck both boxes
