Installed Scythe Ninja & Zalman ZM-NB47J

So, on my Asus A8N SLI Mb, I just replaced the stock AMD heatsink with a Scythe Ninja without a fan and replaced the chipset fan with a Zalman ZM-NB47J.

Now when I boot up my computer, I get a message stating the Windows could not load successfully, and I have to choose Safe Mode, Normal, or Last Known Good Configuration. Several times it wouldn't load at all, but this time Windows happened to boot up in Normal Mode, but my computer thinks it is January 1st 2005.

What is the deal? How do I get my computer to go back to normal

P.S. SpeedFan says my temps are:

CPU: 34C
MoBo 1: 35C
MoBo 2: 29/30C
ACPI-ISA: 40C
HD0: 38C

No idea what those temps are or of those are any good.

Until a proper expert arrives here to respond, I'll start thinking out loud so they have info to work with....
Once in Windows, is it OK?
Have you tried running with the case on it's side (don't change it's orientation while it's running though!)?
Is the CPU in it's socket fully (hence put on it's side to eliminate possibility Ninja pulling CPU out of it's socket)?
No excess heatsink compound anywhere?
Tried a 'load all defaults' in BIOS first and checked the settings are all OK?
Checked all connections are tight (you may have slightly dislodged something while installing)
Is the HDD noisy as it could be on it's way out? Run the HDD manufacturers utility and maybe even 'HDTune' to check for bad sectors on disc.
Sounds more of a software issue to me but as i said, I'm no expert.
You might try Windows repair disk but I'd wait until you get more feedback from others here first please.

Woo, figured it out.

The problem was that the chipset cooler was not firmly attached to the motherboard, so the sporatic contact was causing overheating and Windows was mad at me.
