Your last line says "Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM". At that point you ?may? have to press space or enter for the boot to start from CD. If you do this be sure this is on the 80Gb drive as there are no programs or data to lose.
Please discribe your system, such as a make and model # if premade . Include how much memory, original HD size, cd and dvd speed, video card. This will help determine what OS you can install. You said your chipset is I815
With the old HD in, to check which windows you have, RIGHT click on my computer and select properties. This will display the windows type in the upper right hand corner, and amount of memory farther down. Also make a win98 startup diskette . this is done as follows ... start / settings / control panel / add remove programs and you will see a tab on top to create a startup diskette.
This info can help us go further.
