Installed ECS K7S5A, but I am crazy

I have installed the ECS K7S5A, and I think it's great. I would like to set up another mobo w/Win2k. What do you recommend. I want to support ultra/133 Hdd, nic and and sound. Looking for an inexoensive mobo like the ECS K7S5A.

ATA133 is a gimmick, and since you like your current K7S5A why not get another one?

Keep in mind that you can add an ATA/133 PCI card too, if you simply cannot live without ATA/133.

I work as a tech/system builder and I have built at least 70+ systems with the ECS K7S5A. It has one of the most anemic chipsets for AMD processors but its also one of the cheapes and most stable boards i have seen (for the price),

most of the problems I have found with them is in the install
1. make sure the CMOS has been cleared and the jumper is set back to normal
2. the AGP connectors on so of the boards are a bit odd (some video cards don't seat properly the first time they are put in )

other than that the latest BIOS update helps

😀
