Installed cpu fan facing wrong way.....

Hi, I just installed the coolermaster hyper tx2 hsf on my new q9550. It was only after everything was done that I realized I faced the hsf so the fan is blowing straight UP. The thing is, I have an Antec 900 with a massive fan above it taking all that warm air away.

Should I take it off, or just leave it the way it is? It keeps the cpu below 60c with all four cores maxed on prime95... I really don't want to have to remove it. For anyone not familiar with this hsf, it is an aluminum tower with a 92mm fan attached on one side.
 
It will probably work better the other way, but as long as it runs cool it doesn't matter.

The heatpipes will conduct heat better (assuming you're using a standard ATX tower type case), if they are in a horizontal attitude rather than verticle...

And why do you think it is true? Why would the heatpipes conduct heat better if they are in horizontal attitude?

I think there is no difference at all. The re is much difference but only if you have passive tower cooler and the fin direction is faced vertical. It will help the convective movement of the hot air.

I think that, because heatpipes mounted in a horizontal attitude are fighting convection in the movement of heat along the pipes.
In a vertically mounted attitude, the pipes below the CPU are trying to move heat down, which is fighting against convection.

The fluid in a heatpipe moves along the pipe
