installation of video drivers in linux....how?

need some help here linux users... i have the drivers but i am a noob at linux.. just need some help applying them. thanks in advance..

I think nvidia cards make a install packages for their cards. So all you have to do is click it and install like in windows if you are running GUI. Also you might try the Linux forums for the verison you are runnning. My buddy goes there all the time for his hardware support.

i used the install pack but it doesnt auto install.... it is in rpm format.... therefore it wont install like that you have to use the terminal and i dont really know how... i am a noob at linux.
