Installation of remote starter and Sound system

I want to install both, I'm wondering how difficult they are to install and whether one is easier than the other. I build pcs a lot but I've only soldered a small amount in high school shop class.

Also, how much would it cost to get either of these installed by a professional.. I'm guessing a mechanic would be cheaper than a place like Canadian tire?
 
I would strongly recommend against doing the remote starter yourself, they don't come with vehicle specific instructions and it's a lot of work. By sound system I assume you mean an amp...not too bad.
