Installation Advice

Okay, here is the situation:

Have a computer with a regular IDE hard drive, just got my new Seagate SATA hard drive in. While I know that installation of the drive is easy, my problem lies in getting all my data over to the new hard drive. First time doing this.

Is this something that Norton Ghost would do? Or am I thinking of something else?

IF you have another computer with SATA and IDE, you could just copy all the data straight over. I think norton ghost would do the job, but i know there are other free progs which do the job...

I'll have a look 4 them 2moro morning...
