Install XP only application on Windows 2000

I realize that if I can fool the installer, that there is no guarantee that this will even work. With that out of the way, can the installer be fooled and if so how to do it?

The software I want to install is for programs that came with my kids presents: Fisher Price Computer Cool School and Leapfrog TAG! reader pen. I really don't want to upgrade their machine just to run two software titles.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

One thing to try would be to install it on an XP machine then copy the installation folder to the Win2K box and see if it runs. It's hit or miss but you might get lucky.
