How do you install Windows in French? is there a special french version of the operating system? or is it just an option you have to select when you install? or is it a special add on pack? Please someone point me in the right direction, like maybe a link or something.

I read the MS website on this earlier today. If you want menus and such in two languages, you should get WinXP in English and purchase a Multilanguage Pack.

Heheheh. I laugh because you just reminded me of something funny that happened to me a few years ago. I was installing Win98 from a Microsoft Select disk at work once and all the text was garbled and screwed up (so I thought) and so I reformatted and sure enough it was still garbled. So I thought that the video card had crapped out so I ordered a replacement. The replacement card comes in a couple of days later and so I try reinstalling again only to get the same messed up text! Turns out I was installing some foreign version (Dont recall exactly which) and I thought the text was messed up but it was just another language! 🙂
