Install under Win2k environment.

Hello. I am running Win XP. I have been getting an error when installing some win2k programs such as NvMax, and Via's 4in1's. I was told that there is a way to instal programs as if they were in a Windows 2000 environment. Could someone please enlighten me on how to do this?

I believe that WinXP natively supports all the VIA stuff (no more 4in1's needed).

The utility under WinXP you're talking about is just a simple compatability utility which you can actually find on your Win2k CD. Under Win2k, the utility is called APCOMPAT.exe

It may or may not be the same for WinXP.

Good luck.
