install on single sata

I'm at the verge of building a new pc for friend. Hovewer i have no xp with installing to a sata drive.
Are there any known issues when installing winxp directly to a sata drive?
Does win and the bios for that matter accept the sata drive as just another hdd?
any drivers/utils i should download beforehand?

Just make sure to use the recommended ram with
that new INTEL 875 chipset.

According to this Kingston HyperX should do just fine with AsusP4P800 which by the way is an I865PE chipset.
Apart from the ram issue, anything else?
