Install Norton System Works.. Yay or Nay?

I bought Norton System Works 2002 to have a copy of ghost that would work with Windows XP. Now I'm wondering whether I should install the whole thing and leave it on the computer. What are your opinions/experiences?

I only install and use Speed Disk and Ghost out of the whole thing. If you think you'd actually use most or all of the stuff in it though, by all means just go ahead and install it all. Might save you some time later on instead of having to dig it up again to install more stuff.

Of all the tools, I use NAV and Norton System Doctor (apparently Im a freak for doing this) the most and I keep Speed disk around to use occasionaly.

Installed 2002 and just installed 2003. Very good reg. cleaner, AV, and defragger. Ghost is great form hd images and cleansweep lets me remove all the nasty cookies and keep just the ones I want.
Great suite - never a problem - highly recommendend !!

I also agree with using Speed Disk. It's much better then the built in Windows one.

I strongly recommend MOST of System Works. I think NAV is among the best, but if you prefer another AV, use that. Ghost is only included in the System Works Pro. If you got that, enjoy. Ghost has saved my butt far too many times to count, the last time being yesterday. The defrag program is light years ahead of the one in Windows, and WinDoctor and the Optimization Wizard have both been very helpful for me.

I don't like some of the programs that stay active all the time, such Go Back, which requires a bit of disk space, and Clean Sweep. There is a function similar to Go Back in XP, and regardless, but if I have a problem with what's on my drive, I feel much more secure with a separate Ghosted drive than relying on info stored on a drive that may be corrupted.
