Bro is getting a laptop for regular use (Quicken, browsing, email etc. ), no games, and wants it be fast and last a long time. Which should he get?
 
i just got my refurb 9200, the display is better than I expected. Got 256MB because upgrading aftermarket (newegg) is much cheaper than thru Dell. That's the only achilles heel that I can see, that chugging 256MB... it'll get rectified as soon as the UPS man shows up. I don't have access to the HP so I can't directly compare. If you have any questions re: the 9200, I'll try to help.
