Inspiron 8600 screen

So I'm about to click the "Checkout" button to order this Inspiron 8600 but one review got me worried. "Some guy" says with the wide screen and non-standard resolution the fonts come out bad so the screen is not very suitable for business applications but is great for movies.

Anyone have an Inspiron 8600 and can comment on the fonts? How is it doing word processing, programming, or just surfing the web with those wide resolutions?

run it at native...all is great

i have the 8500, same things basically with the wxsga...all office stuff looks fine to me, and so does UT2003

most laptops look like crap at non native resolutions.

Well, the screen comes in three versions WXGA (1280x800), SWXGA (1680x1050) and WUXGA (1920x1200)

What about this: lets say you pop in a game which runs at a resolution for a standard aspect ratio, say 1280 x 1040. How is it displayed on the wide screen- the picture is centered with the the sides blacked out?
