Hey guys, i recently got in on the 750 off deal, and waiting to receive it. I've been looking around for stuff to protect the laptop. as far as screen protectors go, i was looking into the 15.4" from shaggymac - the site is down right now, or the radtech 14-15.5" one. any opinions?

also, i was looking into getting a sleeve. I found one that looked interested, the booq viper L - it is more than what i would want to pay though, and it is out of stock anyway... Any other options? I'm looking for something that will protect the laptop, as well maybe be able to hold a few extra items - primarily extra battery, power supply, external hard drive (2.5 in enclosure, not too large). any suggestions?

thanks!

well, just for anyone's information, i bought the shaggymac 15.4inch wide screen protector, and the targus cvr200 bag, getting my laptop tomorrow, so we'll see how well they both work.

I also got a i6000D with the 750 off deal...i got it yesterday...damn its nice.....
anywho.i didnt get a cover....i find them un-needed....however i did buy a laptop backpack for college, and i plan on using that whenever i need to transport it.
Good luck with your laptop...and nice purchase 🙂

What was the final price after the $750 deal?

As I recall, Dell require you to spend $1499 to $1999 in order to take advantage of the coupon.
were you able to get your laptop around $1500 - $750?

I got a 6000D too, and got Targus's cheapest notebook backpack from Amazon for around $30. It's cheap, but supposedly really really good.
