I came across this and thought I would share. It's a very interesting and informative read.
It shows there are still some kind and generous people out there.

It's basically about this disabled guy who asks for help to build a controller for him to play his PS2. When you read what he's been through (Later in the thread) It's amazing he has not given up. I am disabled with many health problems so I can relate in a small way, but I am always amazed how there are some VERY mentally strong people out there.

The post is still going I can't wait to see the final outcome.

BTW, BYOAC stands for Build your own arcade comtrols. It's a really great site if you are into building M.A.M.E. cabinets.

If you don't know what M.A.M.E. is use Google. ;)

woah..Im reading the thread. its incredible how the person survived so many accidents and how poeple on the thread are trying to make him a contorller.

"I am the 35 year-old man currently residing in a nursing home. I have broken my neck Not once but 3 times in the last 4 years."

anyways..this thread needs a bump later in the day for the daytime poeple to read because its almost 3am and you wont get much audience at this time.

Yeah I'll bump it tomarrow in the day time if need be. Yeah it's incredible how people stepped up and are helping the guy. Did you read where he gets SS disability but it's taken away to pay the nursing home and he only gets $30 a MONTH allowance. :(

ARRRGGGGHHH

This little Amra fvckwit seriously needs a teachin'. I'm insulted...What a goddamn fool. I, as a quadriplegic - type, write, drive a car, I fly an airplane with assistance, whatever the hell I want. He's making stuff up.

Why am I so mad at this...

There are quadriplegics out there that can WALK. His definition is so skewed.

I hope this guy gets what he needs.
