You guys should have seen the toilet I had in my dorm. It was so powerful that all you had to do was make a seal with the toilet seat, flush, and it would RIP out the contents of your bowels. Well, at least in theory...

You can purchase commercial toilets in any brand (most brands are made by 1 Chinese company).

There are restrictions on the amount of waste toilet water in most jurisdictions, however you can install older toilet that have large cistern (7 or 3.5 gallon) to make sure it clear the toilet with one flush, or get a commercial time delay flush, or a power assist that pump a pressure jet of water/air to help clear the debris, or a toilet that have large flapper (flush valve) and a large round fully glaze trap.

I would actually suggest a local plumbing supply store that deals with it. It's much easier to get problems taken care of in person.

And $90 for a flush valve? Holy crap!!! (bad pun I know) I need to raise my prices.

A commercial wall hung unit cost alot more than a standard residental floor mount toilet, and electronic flush valve can cost more than $1000.

Wow, guess I'm not the only one! Thanks for all those links folks. I think I'm gonna get a couple of the pressure assisted models or at least one to try out. Those seem like a happy middle ground. However a full up flush-valve system would rule the roost! Hmmm... decisions decisions...

We have these in my house, and they dont' actually use more water than regular toilets either, just more flushing power. We've had friends/relatives come over with small children, and the toilet noise has literally scared some of the small children to tears when they flush

the toilets in my dorm could swallow a cow whole. We lovingly refer to them as our little portals to hell. Never seen one clogged up, so I respect them.

Though ours sometimes wouldn't stop flushing last year, just kept on flushing and flushing, sometimes for up to 10-15 minutes. How's that for low-flow?

This is a vacuum-assisted one. It's no louder than a traditional one but flushes much better. This particular one was the highest rated by consumer reports when it came out a couple years ago. LINK

I would also recommend getting a comfort-height toilet, or at the very least one with an elongated bowl. They are just more comfortable.

These two seem pretty decent too. I think I find the 1st one more appealing though but the vaccum assist idea does have merit.

Yeah the toilets are still 1.5 gpf, same as my home toilet I believe. It sucks having a weak-ass toilet.

Why would the person selling you a toilet care about your water bill? It's my damn choice if I want my water bill to be higher.

This is why most of us remove that little plastic ring from the inside of the shower head. We want a SHOWER, not a trickle of water. I'm willing to pay extra for nice things.
