Inspired by another thread: Would you tell a gas station that you got some uber cheap gas?

Ok, so you pull up to a station, put in your credit card, start pumping. You fill the tank and realize the charge is like 3.00. It is obvious they misplaced a decimal or something is wrong.

What do you do?

One time the people inside gave my gas to someone else. When I got to the counter the only thing they could do was give me the price of what was leftover (whoever got screwed basically). I ended up paying $5.67 for 11 gallons of gas.

More than likely they will figure it out. Fvck 'em.

go and pay, then come back with a some jerry cans and get some more, unfortunately everybody that sells fuel where I live are a bunch of criminals...pfft $1.13 per litre for regular unleaded, what a rip off!

self-service is illegal in my state. there's nothing I could do to take advantage of it.

if I were in another state, though, I'd probably just fill up my car and leave. for all I know, they did it on purpose.

yeah i'd probably get some containers and buy some more. but co-worker has told me that you don't really earn any money from selling regular. the snack shop is where the money is at. he owned a gas station.

LOL...dumbest law ever. I had to go to NJ this past summer for a wedding and naturally got out of my car to fill the tank forgetting where I was. This guy came sprinting over to me and got pretty annoyed at me. I had out of state plates so I played dumb

I'd come back with a tanker truck and fill 'er up.

 

I'd fill it up and then call my friends.
Mabey fill up my spare shoes, empty cans and plastic bags in my car with gas too.

it's nice during the winter or when the weather is crappy out... I can stay warm, dry, and comfortable in my car

Haha...that law comes in pretty handy for me since I sure as hell cant pump it myself.
