Inspire 5300 poping/clicking

I have a brand new set of inspire 5300 (5.1) speakers, and when the unit is turned off the right rear speaker makes a quite but audiable clicking noies. I have not been able to figure out why, but I know it's not the speaker because any speaker pluged into the right/rear jack does that. The odd thing is that it works perfectly when it's turned on, it only happens when it's turned off.

Did I just get a bad set or is there something I don't know?

Any help would be appriceated.

My 5300s do not exhibit this behavior. I'd return the set to your place of purchase for a replacement if possible, or contact Creative if within warranty period.

I just called creative, they said to return them to where I got them or I could RMA them, but that would take longer. The other question I have, the SNR seems to be a bit high, could this be due to a related problem. I would like to just replace the sub as the speakers are all set up, but want to make sure I get a good set. Would the SNR be a factor of the quality of the sub/amp (wich is already in question) or is that a factor of the speakers?
