I like them a lot. I also like how they are not so big , which I needed. Yet they produce very nice sound, coupled with the audigy card.

From what I've read and opinions I've heard at stores, they are a "good bang for the buck" 5.1 analog speakers.. It's too bad that Creative didn't include any tripods for the rear speakers though..

Hey go get em! I was contemplating on getting Altec's before I saw the Inspire 5300 5.1. I can say it is pretty affordable considering its a 5.1 setup speakers. I thought the speakers really suck when I saw the specs but when I tested a friend's one WOW! I got it the next day!

Go for it dude! ;)

They work really well with a Sound Blaster Audigy, but they sucked with my Sound Blaster 128. I expect they would also work well with a Sound Blaster 5.1 or Turtle Beach Santa thing. I expected they would work with a 4 speaker card, but I could not get the base to do much with the Sound Blaster 128.

oops 5300. I thought you meant 5700. ( I have to read better) Those are still nice speakers.

yeah i couldnt decide if i wanted these or the z560s (logitech). i went ahead and got the logitech. what's better, killer 4.1 or good 5.1?
