You know, after watching several episodes of (the original series) Inspector Gadget, if Dr Claw had invested more in his work force his missions to remove inspector gadget might have been more successful.

Think about it.

It's just like if the villain in every action movie ever didn't decide to make a speech before killing off the protagonist, the villain would succeed every time. But then it wouldn't have a happy ending!
