I would like to add a third cabinet to my outdoor music area.I have now two cabs wired right and left.I was given a third cab and would like to add it.How do I add a third cab to a 2 channel amp?Amp is 8 ohm 200 watt(100x2).

I have the right cab wired to the right channel(l&r),the same with the left channel. Its wired to the left channel(l&r).Would I split the third cab between the r and l channels (R of the cab wired to the r of the r channel , the same with the l wire of the cab,to the L of the Left channel?), or wire it in series ?

Short answer - you don't.
If the speakers are 8 Ohms, adding it to either channel will drop it down to a 4 Ohm load, which is probably too low for that amp. You could wire it with another speaker on one channel, but it will raise it to a 16 Ohm load, which would technically work, but without good results, especially if the speakers are not all the same.
You can't wire it half and half L/R like you described either, it just won't work that way.

Thanks for the reply,I thought it would be wrong to proceed.I will either find another cab for a total of four,or put the third to another amp thats a spare,it has a single cab that I was looking for a mate to.This is all mostly old outdated freebies, the speakers all are still in very good shape(adult owned)with no cone damage(visable).
