"And shake traffic this Caddy will. Like the hell spawn of GM, the wagon transforms from docile mommy mobile to ass-tearing thunder truck in one stomp of the pedal. And it will do it with a kid and a load of lawn fertilizer in the back."

Awesome.

I hate that they are perpetuating stereotype that wagons are for families. Families buy SUVs and minivans. Wagons are for single young active adults who want to drive something fun while they are hauling gear to do something else that is fun :)

Yup. Today, the SUV and Minivan fits the stereotype the "wagon" once did. Wagons pretty much have a rebirth now. And I'll gladly take one. lol

There is no way they will be had for that much less in only two years.

I'm guessing they'll be available for $40-$45k easily in 2 years. 2 years is a pretty long time in resale value, and the more expensive the car, generally the faster it drops, unless you're in the exotic realm. Look at 2009 M5s right now for an example of the ludicrous drop in vehicles like these.

'09 M5, 4k miles, $59k

That one has a pack of options that end up setting you back about 96k out the door, from a base of 87.5k. So 4k miles and less than two years of use = $36k in lost value :p That's not even counting taxes/fees/etc that are above and beyond sticker value loss.
