how about you don't click this thread then? i thought it was really interesting also, i don't like seeing animals suffering but this was fascinating to watch.

Everything just behind the eye sockets and forward is removed. No jaw, no eyes, no nose. The ears are fine and still attached. The cow is just standing there like nothing happened, turning his ears when he hears people talking, turning what's left of his head to "see" what's going on. Probably couldn't figure out why he can't see anything.

People who have never been around cows don't understand how incredibly stupid they really are.
 
I have been to a cow slaughterhouse becasue my ex girlfriend was a veterinarian and she took me for a class project. Anyways I just wonder how they are going to kill this cow for food. They usually get them on the head to kill it. At least thats what I saw.

That's why this should serve as an anatomy lesson. CNS will still do what it does, regardless of a faceoff.

Even if it didn't bleed to death, the creature can't chew its own cud.

I don't think there's any practical way for it to digest food.


I think enough of the brain remained for hearing to continue working. It looked like the ears were intensely listening to the environment because it could no longer see. It wouldn't start walking no matter how much motor control / consciousness remained, because it couldn't see where it was going.
