I finally put together another system (a very cheap one I put together as a spare) and am having an issue with it and can't figure out what the problem is.

I was having issues getting it to post to the screen, but finally figured it out (one of the screws that the mobo screws into was shorting it or something... when I removed it, it worked)

Anyways, after I figured that out, I connected the HD and CD-ROM drive and installed windows. While installing windows, I had to 'retry' to load several files, but they all loaded in the end. Now it boots windows, but I have 2 errors.

That's not even the problem. NOW I cant seem to get any of the inputs working. I've tried connected multiple keyboards and mices, through BOTH USB and PS/2, but nothing is responding (no lights lighting etc)

Additionally, I tried removing the HD and CD-ROM drive to see if any of the inputs will light up, but no luck.

To top it all off, if the HD is connected, it takes a while to get past the mobo post screen, and into windows... not sure why.

Here's the config/parts I have:

motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813135068

cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...E16819116063&Tpk=e2200

memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820227139

gfx card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814127295

Any ideas are appreciated!
