Input signal out of range

hello there !

I got my new 25" monitor today, I ran 3dmark06 @ 1920x1080 without a problem. But as soon I play crysis, I got a display from the monitor saying that "input signal out of range" when I tried to play at 1920x1080 from 1440x900.

Is there a solution for this?
 
I already did those so it wasn't causing them. I googled up a bit and found out it was an HDMI to DVI issue. I whipped out the ye olde VGA cord and it solved the problem. Of course it was annoying, but I was able to play at 1080 without a problem.
