Input request on build so far!

Looking to build a mid-high end gaming machine that will last a few years. My budget is 900-1000 and the parts will be purchased from Canada.

I already have a few parts thanks to some great deals on newegg.ca today.

CPU - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819115067

Motherboard - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16813130272

RAM - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820231314

total: 440$

I plan on purchasing the rest of the parts in the next few weeks (Black Friday!) and assembling on arrival of the parts. I still need to pick out a graphics card, leaning towards SLi GTX400 series. Also thinking about running my HD's in raid 0 (thoughts?). Also, looking for some help with what type of power supply I'd be needing for this build.

Thanks in advance for reading and any help provided! Let me know if there's any info you require.

Hmm, seems like Newegg's Canadian prices are somewhat out of whack. Generally the DDR3 1333 is about $20-30 cheaper than DDR3 1600.

To me, the only "worthwhile" SLI or Crossfire setup is with two high-end cards (not mid-range). So you're looking at $500 for AMD or $900 for Nvidia (just for the GPUs).
