8800GTS 512 is not a bad card, but there are some newer and better models for about the same price.

9800 GTX+ for $139.99 after rebate

9800 GT would also be a better choice. They can be had for ~$100.

The ATI 4850 would also be faster than the 8800GTS. $129.99 after rebate

Wow, thats a steal.

Mobo

Anything with a P45 should be good. Personally, I like Asus. Just make sure it has all the slots/connectors you need.

This looks like a really good deal on a top-quality power supply and a Radeon 4850 - Link.

Other than the fancy cooling fan, I believe this power supply is the same one that jonnyguru gave nearly perfect scores (9.5/10) as far as performance/functionality goes.

And for motherboard I'd suggest the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, which is also on sale currently at Newegg.

The Asus P5Q Pro + Intel E8400 combo has a nice $30 combo discount currently on Newegg. I'd rank the Gigabyte board as a better board (based on reviews from users here, on Newegg, and website reviews online), but the P5Q Pro should still be a fairly good board.

the 4850 + psu deal is awsome.. plus the asus board + e8400 combo deal. corsair has 4gb ddr2-800 for $54 plus $30 mir. spend $5 on the WD 640 gigabyte. thats a solid system.
