This is why I wonder about the actual usefulness of 4K @ 60Hz through HDMI instead of DP. We know how much input lag can be introduced even in dedicated monitors. Something like a TV where it's not even a primary consideration, will most likely be a lagfest.

And every time someone mentions the whole HDMI 2.0 deal against AMD I cringe, because no serious player would entertain playing on anything other than a PC monitor.

No matter how good the TV I have seen a few I always notice a delay.

Heck I even moved my console to my computer room and hooked it up to my monitor to have a better experience.

Sorry if a little off topic.

I still gotta try out my 55" 4k Visio but was rated at around 18ms or so on HDMI 5 low latency mode.Probably in the next couple of days or so.

No 3D, no smart hub, no after picture effect and game mode is the key u are looking for. Sony got the best tv's for input lag, i myself use a 60" LG plasma that has nothing going for it in 3d or smart tv so input lag is king on it. I used this site and others to find my tv.

My 60" LG Plasma says to use a specific HDMI port (Labelled as PC/DVI) and to use "Game" Mode.

No issues here.

Finally got around to testing my TV. Gotta monkey around with image still a little.

Only supports 4k at 60Hz but not like a 970 is up to the task anyways.

Only tried Far Cry 4 in the arena so far. Seems very tolerable on the lag side.

TV just got a firmware update today. Not sure what it changed yet.

It's really how sensitive you are to it. I've only noticed it in bf4 playing online with 100 ms input lag on top of other lag I had.

Otherwise I've never noticed input lag.
