I would love to print onto my DVD-rs so anyone know of any printers that can do that? I can't just use a label because my dvd players freak out because of the added weight..

I've seen reviews of a couple of them. They were color inkjets and the big complaint was that black never looked black and you have to use special discs that can accept the ink.

Added the link. As noted, you do have to buy printable CDR's - This will NOT work on regular CDR's.

Thanks again for the link.. A little more money than I expected to pay for an epson (since the inks or so expensive I factor that in as well).. Wonder if canon makes one.. Thanks again and I'll see if I can find it for around $150 or less..

Something else to consider are HUB labels. They are tiny labels that just go around the center of the disk. It should not throw off the balance of the disk

The MaximumPC review of the Epson printer said that the ink took a very long time to dry on a CD.

I believe it's the Epson 960 selling at www.newegg.com for around $300. Prints on paper as well. Note that you must order the template and software for it (free from epson last I knew with proof of purchase).
