The black inkjet cartridge on my HP 930C is low on ink, and a friend of mine has offered to refill it for me. Those that have used the refill kits, what has been your experience? Do I risk damaging my printer? Will the quality of my photos suffer? thanks!

No, it wont damage your printer...

As for quality, it will not look as good as HP ink, but still quite acceptable (it's not bad quality, just not as sharp as HP ink)...
