where do you guys buy inkjet cartridges from? I don't want to buy a refill a kit or anything, I just want to buy those remanufactured ones so i dont have to pay exorbitant rates from the manufacturers. I was looking at inkjetexperts.com since there was something about them on the a deal site's frontpage, but they're not listed at resellerratings or anything. Does anyone have any good recommendations? thanks.

I get mine from Megatoners, for my epson 480. They're WAY cheap, under $2/ea for black.

Try searching in Hot Deals, as there is some company out there that runs a ton of the inkjet places online and has many dissatisfied customers. When the complaints (and reseller ratings) get too bad, they open up another store under a new name. I believe there's actually a lawsuit against the company now. I'll see if I can dig up any info.

I have been nothing but happy with megatoners.com though, so if they have what you need, stick with them

Edit: Found the thread :)

link

Edit again: That place you mentioned is registered by the same people who own 1800inkjets.com.

If you want cheap ink, its a good site... But keep in mind, its cheap ink. I have since switched back to the real stuff (and of course outrageous prices) but i couldnt stand the cheap stuff. Not only did it look kinda crappy, but it was very thin and runny. Kinda made a mess sometimes....

Most of what I print (text, some webpages) looks fine with ink from megatoners. It doesn't dry as fast as the real stuff, so I'm a little more careful with the printouts.

In our photo printer, we use genuine HP inks, but for generic, everyday printing, you cant beat megatoner's prices

bah, megatoners doesnt carry the cartridges for the HP 3820, is there any other reputable place i can buy cartridges without getting reamed by hp on prices. I will mostly be printing web pages, text docs, excel charts/graphs (which will be in color). Will the non-factory ink look bad on color graphs and such or should i be ok?

Which is better? Remanufactured or refills?

I've been using refills for a while on my Cannon. Though the text is not as crisp as the original cannon cartridge, it?s still good enough for my printing needs, but its a hassel.

It will be in color, it just wont necessarily be the correct colors :)

Dont expect it to look too good (the colors are faded and weak), but it will get the job done.
