I need to buy some ink cartridges and I was hoping that a few folks could recommend their favorite online stores.

For what brand? For Canon printers, alotofthings.com is popular. They also sell Epson generics. HP and Lexmark cartridges generics are impossible to find since those models have integrated printheads. For those printers, refilling and the occasional remanufactured are your only options.
 
OT, belongs in Hot Deals, I Wanna... thread. Always helps if you provide details. Some places are better than others for given brand/model(s). I've been buying on eBay for my Canon i450 from either tylermartin1 or usainkjet. They are actually the same outfit in Marysville, KS (tyler-martin.com) and they sell cheaper on eBay than on their own web site - don't ask me... I think the USA Fivestar carts sold under usainkjet are slightly better than the Rainbow carts sold under tylermartin1.

I wouldn't say the experience was great, but they work as promise but took over 2 weeks to get them to my door.🙁 If your printer = EPSON then monsterinkjets is the place to go. You cant beat $2.99 a cart.
 
I have finally got a chance to test some of the USA 5 Star ink mentioned above and it is superior to the Rainbow by a wide margin. What had been looking quite washed out on Kodak Presentation Plus Matte paper, now looks excellent. Easily equals Canon original ink.
