Initials in a Tree

***WARNING TO TREE HUGGERS*** I don't care if this is going to somehow cause the tree 'pain' I'm just curious as to the best method...

I'd really like to do the cliche thing and carve some initials into a tree in my backyard (on a couple acres, so it's more of a woods setting) and would like it to look somewhat 'professional'. I am not very experienced with tools so I was wondering if you guys had ever done it or could give me some suggestions. I appreciate it 🙂

if you want the "classic" look...grab a pocket knife and go at it. Else, grab a dremel and you can do what you like.
