OMG, This movie does not do Initial D justice! it's just a whole bunch of lame drifts on Fast forward. Non of the cast could act. The Girl wasn't even that cute. I played that stupid game on their stupid website trying to win them stupid premier tickets for stupid nothing. Now that i've finally seen the full movie, realize what i've been wasting mind on. DOWN WITH JAY CHOU, his music sux too, and he can shove that stupid J III mp3 player up his f$%King Azz
 
jay's kinda ugly to be actor
never seen movie but with jay chow being lead, i expect it to suck.
you can't just get someone famous, giving them the leading role and expect the movie to be good.
 
I felt like i was violated in some way after having seen it. I am a hardcore intial D fan, YES, I do have one of those cards to put into those Initial D arcade game, and yes i've got everything unlocked and the fastest time @ my local arcade.

is not that he's extrememly ugly. his look actually fit the character, but his acting was just horrible. The director also seem clueless as to what elements of the anime he want to bring in and what to leave out.

the rx7 savanna in the movie looked alot sleeker than the anime,,, also wtf wasn't there suppose to be a SKYLINE??? That nightkid dude was driving some , idk what it was, looked real funky,, It was suppose to be an R32... Anyone else notice this
 
all the cars were the same as from the anime. characters were all way off. the retarded ricer kid made the movie enjoyable at the very least.

other than that ... it's a novelty movie
 
Is there an English subbed version out by chance? I heard the movie sucked too... they tried to squeeze first and second stage into 1.5 hours? That's crazy..
 
jay chou was the one playing takumi right? i dunno, he seemed to fit the part, seemed completely aloof just like takumi...

i kinda liked the movie actually, i didn't understand wtf they were saying, but the "theme" music is sorta kinda catchy...
 
damn, i was really looking forward this. can anyone send out a english subbed copy of this? I'd like to see it anyways.
