Hyori Lee has signed US$1 million contracts to act in 2 of EEG-invested movies. One is with Jackie Chan while the other is with Director Tsui Hark,Edison Chen and Jay Chou in 'Initial D'. Why didnt she venture into the Korean film industry but instead chose Hong Kong? She said : "As there is confidence in EEG,I believe that the company will be planning my schedule carefully so i'm not worry whether it will get in the way for my album works."
EEG boss Albert Yeung Sau-Sing and "super agent" Mani Fok Man-Hei were in Seoul, South Korea yesterday for a press conference that announced EEG has signed a deal with South Korean pop star Lee Hyo-Lee (right with Yeung). Worth a reported HK$8 million, the agreement has Lee appearing in two movies backed by Emperor: an undefined Jackie Chan project and Tsui Hark's INITIAL D. Further, Lee will record a duet with EEG's Joey Yung Tso-Yi. The song, which will be aimed at all Southeast Asian markets, will be sung in Korean, English and Mandarin.
