so, like, when u say get it fitted do they inject stuff into a finger to make it larger to fit the ring? or do they just tear some flesh and bone away from the other?

if so, pics.

uh, have you EVER gotten a ring adjusted before?

left hand, ring finger...attracts all the slutty chicks

if you aren't comfortable with it on your hand, try wearing it as a necklace.

or you could act like you're married to attract all the hos, as JEDI pointed out.

Seems like a really flashy ring for a 17 year old to be wearing. Id put it on a chain and wear it as a necklace

Pearl is a very soft stone, not the best for daily wear. Some people do wear pearl rings as an everyday ring, but plan on replacing the pearls when they start to look bad. Just guessing from the description but I'd say it would look best on ring finger, right hand.

do you think he'd be asking that if he had? hello?

I dont know what is up with people suggesting the middle right finger...never seen that before. Right ring finger is where I generally wear my class ring....good luck.

Those are interesting ideas icejunkie, but I think in general jewelers just find it easier to modify the ring itself.

If the ring is too small, it can (sometimes) be made larger by stretching the ring, easier to do if there is enough metal in the ring (not too thin/alrelady stetched) and if there are not any stones in the ring. Otherwise, they will saw through the ring in back and solder in a small piece to make it larger. Sometimes the stones in the ring must be removed before the work is done because of the high heat, and then replace afterward.

Ring too large, you remove some metal and then solder back together. Or you can just add a little metal adjuster in the back to take up some of the space - this can be done on a temporary or more permanent basis.
