I'm in a bit of a financial pinch right now, so transferring the money to my bank account isn't an option.

Is there a way to get them to cut you a check? Any other way to get your money out?

Sorry I'm no help here, but I only have an Orange account with them, I put 30 bucks in it a long time ago and haven't even touched it. Just the other day they wired $46 bucks into my account. I have no idea why -- I never initated a transfer and I doubt $30 would generate more than 50 percent interest in less than a year. :) I should call and ask them WTF is up.

Have you tried calling their toll free number to ask them this very question?

What about using the account to load a prepaid VISA or something?

AHHH!!!!

Letters in phone numbers are the bane of my existence ever since getting a Blackberry.

I swear 10 years ago, when everybody had standard phone keypads, they would always include the letters' equivalent digits. Now they never do.

The transfer takes a couple days at most; how do you think a check is gonig to be faster??
I assume you have a savings account and not a checking account with them since then you could just write a check yourself.

they do have a debit card now, and a smattering of ATMs, though I'm sure quite rare in the states. That's one possibility, if time is not an issue...

In my city, the biggest in the country, they have about 2 or 3 ABMs located around. They issues me a bank card too, but unless I have some deal going down, there's no way I'd ever go to them.

I never said a check would be faster. I just don't want to transfer it into my bank account because it's overdrawn. :p
