What constitutes an "amatuer drinker"? W T F.

Rather, is it "skittles infused with vodka" rather than "vodka infused with skittles".

I guess it depends on how it is consumed.....!>!>!>!!

A taste for disgusting sugar-laden drinks makes you an amateur drinker. You shouldn't have to disguise the taste of the alcohol. That's what children do.

Caring about what other people drink makes you a fucking loser, period.

what TallBill said, maybe also the person likes Vodka and Skittles so combining them makes sense to that person. Seeing how this is still 98% Vodka and you'll get drunk just as fast as straight Vodka I'm not exactly sure what's amateur about it. Amateurs drink Wine Coolers & Smirnoff Ice. Never see one drink hard alcohol. By your logic I would say Vodka period is an amateur drink, REAL drinkers drink only 151 or Everclear. 100 proof or less is for amateurs if you ask me...

Actually it is drinking to get blitzed that is amateur. Pro drinkers take it slow and enjoy the process. That means finding alcohol that is actually worth drinking.

I agree in principle, but even pro drinkers like to shotgun beers on the porch sometimes.

Sure, but Lonestar is hardly even considered alcohol, now is it?

What kind of Texan are you?!

I'll agree on most counts, but have a few disagreements.

First, a veteran/"pro" drinker is going to be someone who knows how to handle alcohol, and knows how to balance any days where the goal is getting drunk, versus other days where the alcohol is simply to be enjoyed. For these people, it isn't hard to find good alcohol, as it is, and enjoy this after work or sitting around with friends, just to enjoy the taste.
BUT,
nobody has brought into the "higher" level of drinker:
the Snob, the Elitist, the Asshole. The one that has taken it too far, one who judges what other people are drinking. Alcohol is to be enjoyable, no matter the preferred type it will be perfect by itself, and doing anything to it is blasphemy. To disagree is to be a heretic. And, to be a "man" one has to follow those rules... the alcohol must not be diluted with anything, must be a hard liquor or a damn good beer, and if there's any taste of sweetness your officially a woman.

I hate those people. I'll drink whatever the hell I feel like drinking. I don't care what other people drink, and I don't care what other people think of what I'm drinking.

I like beer, and have been mostly drinking anything Sam Adams recently, mostly their Cream Stout where I can find it. I like vodka and gin, and tequila if it's a really good variety (no Jose for me thank you). I make a variety of mixed drinks, I'll also drink straight. Hell, I've had numerous different very sweet drinks.

And me and my roommates made skittle vodka a few weeks ago. One for each color. Turned out decent, filtering was a bitch though, there is still some of the fatty content in the final product that just kind of floats there, but no harm. It's not chunky so unnoticeable when drinking.
Haven't had a shot of it straight, but my roommate said it's still pretty much vodka tasting, just a little hint of skittle flavor, and not really sweet. I had some mixed with sprite when doing a crazy pong game, and it had the skittle flavor to it but wasn't super sweet, other than the diet sprite.
Neon colored though, for sure. Kinda neat. :)

Mmm...this actually sounds pretty good. I think I can already feel the hangover I'd have after that though...

I thought the same.
