OMFG what a steal of a price on that projector. It got the best, top reviews of all standard def projectors when it came out. As far a standard projectors go nothing in its class and price can touch it for picture and black level quality according to EVERY review done on that unit.
Bulbs though are on the high side at $450 a pop, but are supposed to last 3000 hours on high OR Eco modes.

Damn if I had the money Id be all over this.

LOL, bulb costs more than the damn projector!

I almost bought one last night for my parents but resisted 😉

They want something that they can watch when reading. I figured with a price like this, they might manage a dual display setup instead of a single large traditional display

Like

This projector + 32" LCD = ~$1000

instead of 42" LCD/DLP/Plasma = $1000 - $1200

We have to talk when I come home for christmas

It's $389.99 after rebates...but it won't be $5 shipping if I were guessing

don't buy from that place!!.... like all electronics stores they are only looking to scam you into buying accessories/extras. Look for reviews on this place and i guarantee they are bad!

If you don't buy the accessories, what's the problem?

Ordered Infocus IN72 Projector. After no action, I called. They told me I needed to order a bulb, one didn't come with it. Knowing this unit, I called BS. They then said it did have a bulb, but it would only last 100hrs. Again, BS. After refusing to order another buld, they angrily told me delivery would take 4-6 weeks. When I told them to cancel the order and asked for a cancellation #, they hung up on me.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11"

Lol, whats with all the shotty Camera places that cant just advertise a real price, I remember I dealt with that company as well when looking for a camera for my mom, I must have placed my order online with 3 to 4 different companies only to receive a call the next day with the same lines, (e.g. Need to buy overpriced memory with camera, need to buy other crap extras etc...)

A few places do this. The 2 or 3 times I've had it happen, I just call them back and say no to everything. Never any problems.

Enhanced Definition TV: Inputs: HDMI, Component RCA, M1-DA
High Definition TV: Inputs: HDMI, Component RCA, M1-DA
Computer: Inputs: M1-DA

That's what it says on infocus website.

What happens if I connect computer to the projector via DVI -> HDMI cable? would it not accept the 1024x768 resolution?

whoever suggested bestpricecameras.com should be slapped in the face... j/k but if you read the reviews in resellerratings, etc you would slap yourself too

i'm actually worried since i have a Da-Lite 2.8 high gain screen (might be tooooo bright, who would've thought right)... and also from all that reading 66% of the people are either projecting on a white wall or blackout cloth
I should be receiving my PJ thursday, hopefully if i'm not in class. I'll take some snaps and post them somewhere
